AI Automation: How I Create Saurus Comics Every Day with One Command

Autorul lucrează la un episod Saurus Comics, cu motanul Saurus și fluxul automatizat de la comic la video pe laptop.

Every day, I start the entire Saurus Comics workflow with a single command in ChatGPT. From the idea and script to image generation, video editing, and uploading the episode to YouTube, the steps run automatically in the same sequence.

Challenges in making a comic

In my episodes, I aim for consistency from the first panel to the last. I pay particular attention to these parts of the process:

  • Consistent characters: Saurus must look the same in every panel, even when the setting and action change.
  • Clear images: expressions, gestures, and important details must be easy to understand, and lettering must remain clean and readable.
  • Story rhythm: scenes need a natural order and must work as both a comic strip and a short video.
  • Fewer repeated publishing steps: the script, images, edit, and video details need to be prepared in order and sent to the right channel.

One command coordinates the whole workflow

My daily command tells ChatGPT to prepare and publish a Saurus Comics episode. ChatGPT coordinates the connected tools through these stages:

  1. Develop the episode idea, script, and dialogue.
  2. Break the story into panels and prepare visual descriptions that keep the characters and style consistent.
  3. Generate the illustrations, select the right panels, and prepare the video sequence.
  4. Assemble the clip and prepare its title, description, and publishing details.
  5. Upload the episode to the Saurus Comics YouTube channel and check its upload status.

For my daily routine, GPT‑6 Luna is sufficient and economical. ChatGPT uses it for writing, organizing scenes, and coordinating the workflow; connected tools handle media generation and uploading.

From description to image

For each scene, I define the character's action, setting, emotion, and framing. The descriptions preserve Saurus's defining features, while the images are checked for continuity, readability, and relevance to the story. The selected panels then become the visual material for the clip.

Generating and uploading the video

Once the panels are ready, I use automation to turn them into a short clip, set the scene order and pacing, and prepare the episode details. It then uploads the video to the Saurus Comics YouTube channel. Finally, it checks that the video appears on the channel with the correct title and description.
